Once you are on the “My Kidz & Memory Album Settings” page, click on the button “Create Child Profile.”

You can also go directly to this link: https://www.quotablekidz.com/user/addprofile

Fill out the form on this page and click on Create Profile when done.

How to add a new entry / create a new post
After you log in, you can create a post from the Quotable Kidz homepage, “My Home”, or your kids’ Private Memory Album pages.
Below are screenshots of what the entry points for creating a new post look like:
You and up to 4 other people that you designate as Memory Collectors can add new entries to your child’s Private Memory Album.

You can create a post for:
-one of your kids,
-a child you are a memory collector of,
-“Kid in My World”, which is another child you heard,
-“Kid on the Web”, which is from another website.

For each new entry you can decide the level of visibility–in other words who can see the entry.

Message to Child can be seen by you, any memory collectors of your choice, and your child in the future. This is not visible to all memory collectors or to your friends and family members.

The Private Memory Album Entry is a post that only you and memory collectors can see.

The Share Privately with Family and Friends visibility allows you to show entries to groups of people you created. Those could be parents from the school, close relatives like uncles, aunts and grandparents of your child, or the extended family for example.

The entries you Share Publicly on Quotable Kidz Homepage will be seen by anybody who looks at the homepage, but will also be added to the respective children’s albums.

When selecting quotables in words, you can either submit:
-a simple quote from one child,
-an anecdote about one or multiple kids you select from the top bar,
-a dialogue between one or more kids selected from the top bar and possibly another person you can include for the occasion.

Simple quote and anecdote have similar templates:

Dialogue has a different template that allows entering a person’s name and their words one by one:

You can enhance an entry with words by creating an image using our design tool and templates. We call those Fancy Quotables:

Chose a template on the left and change the font type, the text size and color, the quote bubble color and the background color if you with. You can then finalize the image or go back by clicking on Undo Fancy Quotable.

After the image is finalized, you can save the post as a draft to finish later or submit it right then:

The Add a New Entry pop-up will automatically display the thumbnails of all the children for whom you can create a new entry.  This includes your own children and the children for whom you have been designated as a Memory Collector.

You can easily post a specific memory to as many Memory Albums within your family as you wish. For each post you can select one or multiple kids.

If you select multiple kids, you will see that you can select the primary kid by sliding a square from left to right. The primary kid is the one for which the name or nickname, age, location, and public profile image or private profile image will be shown with the post. The post will also be added to the Private Memory Album of the other kid(s).

What are the different levels of visibility

How to add a new entry / create a new post for a child that is not mine
Everyone who has an account on Quotable Kidz, regardless of being a parent or a Memory Collector, can contribute to the Quotable Kidz Compendium of Kid Quotability by creating Kid in My World and Kid on the Web posts.

Kid in My World posts pertain to any child that you know.  Under this category, you can submit Quotables in Words that you have the option of turning into Fancy Quotables.  To respect children’s anonymity (and to leave the right for disclosure solely to the parent), Kid in My World posts do not include videos, images, and audio.

Kid on the Web posts pertain to quotable children that appear anywhere on the web.  You can submit Quotables in Video and in Words under this category. You have the option to turn your Quotables in Words for your Kid on the Web posts into Fancy Quotables.

How to import a post from Facebook
With your account, you can pull the content from an existing Facebook account. You just need to login to Facebook in addition to your Quotable Kidz account.
After you click on your name in the top right corner of the screen, select “Import from Facebook” in the drop-down menu.
Then select the type of entry that matches the type of Facebook post you want to import.
Once you click on the Import button the content gets pulled into the fields for a new entry. Here you can make any modifications that you want before finalizing the post.

You can import text, image and video posts from Facebook.

The example below is showing 2 images from 2 different Facebook posts you can combine into a collage or individually if you wish.

How to invite Family and Friends to see your Private Memory Albums on Quotable Kidz
Click on your name in the top right corner of the screen, and select “Invite Family and Friends” from the drop-down menu.
Then click on the button “Invite Family and Friends”.
Fill out the form with names and email addresses and finish by clicking on “Send Invite”.
The people you invite will form your larger Family and Friends circle, among whom you will pick specific members who will comprise the Family and Friends circle for each child.
You designate Family and Friends for each child by clicking this icon:
In each Private Memory Album, you can call each member of the Family and Friends circle with the name that your child calls them.
How to make a friend or family member a memory collector

Memory collectors are individuals within your friends and family members who you choose to contribute new entries to your child’s Private Memory Album.

If you have more than one child, you can decide to have different memory collectors for each child, just as you can have different friends and family members for each child.

Click on your name in the top right corner, then select “My Kidz & Memory Album Settings”. Before you could pick someone as a memory collector for an individual child, you need to designate them as being part of that child’s Family and Friends circle. On the same line as your friend or family member, under the kid’s name, click first on the left icon and then on the right icon:

You can create up to 4 groups from your Family and Friends members to use with the Share Privately with Family and Friends visibility when creating an entry.

On the same page, look for the Add Group button:

Type in a Group Name and click on Save:

How to give my spouse / partner access to adding entries to my child(ren)’s Private Memory Album
Your spouse / partner can create posts for your child by becoming a memory  collector. Please see answers above on “How to invite Family and Friends to see your Private Memory Albums on Quotable Kidz?” and “How to make a friend or family member a memory collector?”
When you create a child profile you are the person able to make changes to this profile. Your spouse / partner will not be able to make changes to that profile, but will be able to contribute through creating entries for the child.
How to change a Memory Collector’s settings

Click on your name in the top right corner, and then select “My Kidz & Memory Album Settings”.

At the bottom of the page under Memory Collector Settings, click on “Please Select Memory Collector” and select the person’s name.

You can then check and uncheck the authorities for each Memory Collector.

How to create an album

Your albums on Quotable Kidz contain multimedia content including images, videos and audio files that are uploaded while creating an entry.  If you have more than one child, we recommend that you create family albums instead of individual albums for each child because in a family with multiple children many photos and videos will have more than one child in them.

While creating an entry, either select an existing album on the left, or create a new album on the right by typing its name and clicking on “Create”.

If you click on create, the new album will be automatically selected on the left.

Below is an example of a multimedia album with all three types of media:
